This handsome boy is Sawyer! Sawyer is a 6 year old Great Dane/Boxer mix. Sawyer is a shy boy and needs a home with an experienced and patient owner that is willing to train him and help boost his self confidence. He craves a social connection, and needs a home a stable home that will work with him tirelessly. He needs direction and leadership and firm, benevolent handling to secure his place in the world! Once you have earned this boys trust, he will warm up to you and be an absolute love bug! It is not recommended that Sawyer go to home with children, because loud noises and fast movements seem to scare him. Sawyer also needs to be an only pet.

SAWYER'S ADOPTION FEE IS $160The shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at the dog's predominant breed or breed mix. We strongly encourage you to select your new pet by looking at each dog's individual personality and pet qualities rather than relying on a breed label that is only our best guess. 
 
Our adoption fees vary from $150 and up.  All of our dogs are up to date on vaccines, heart worm preventives, and flea/tick medication, and will be spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Portions of your adoption fee also help care for the sick and injured animals that we take in.  Thank you for supporting us and considering a rescue dog!
