Houston Tx Hi! I am Gunther and I can’t wait to go home with you. I am a 140lb 2yr old Dane absolutely full of personality and puppy energy. I am still a bit clumsy so it is probably best if you don’t have any children. I need a large fenced in yard where I can explore and run freely because everyone knows that a good dog is a tired dog. I was found on the streets with another dog, but when it came time to go to my foster, I didn’t want him to come with me. My fosters still aren’t sure if I should be around other dogs or cats and think I would be best in a one dog home. Any introduction to other dogs needs to be done very carefully as I have shown aggressive behavior towards them. I love to chase after squirrels and ducks and sometimes even take my owners with me. I am working on basic commands, leash training and manners and would need someone could continue to work with me. I also have a little stranger danger when outsiders enter my territory. Eating is definitely my favorite activity, but car rides are a very close second. I do well in my kennel, but you have to entice me to enter as I’d rather stay with you. If you promise to work and play with me, I promise to love you forever. For more information, please email us at For an application to foster or adopt, please go to and fill out an app. Thank you so much, we look forward to helping you.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
