Description:
Meet Ezra!  He is an absolute rock star and one heck of a fighter!  Born around December 2016, he weighs 80 pounds and could stand to gain another 10 or so.

Ezra came to SPIN in early December 2020 when a good Samaritan found him on the side of the road.  Someone had shot him and left him to die.  After lots of around the clock veterinary care and lots of love and support from his foster family, Ezra made a full recovery.  Just a few days later, he managed to rip out his stitches from his neuter surgery, so back to the ER and back in a cone he went.

Sweet Ezra and has never met a human he doesn’t like!  However, he isn't a fan of chickens or other dogs.  He wants to be in a home as an only pup.  He is indifferent to cats.

He loves, loves, loves toys!

He is house trained, crate trained, does fantastic in a car.  He is okay on leash and could use more practice.  He is very vocal and loves letting his voice be heard.

Despite being dealt a pretty crummy hand to life in the beginning, Ezra is nothing but a bundle of joy and happiness, and he finds adorable ways to show he is grateful for his new lease on life.

Have we mentioned the Pyr paw?   We’re pretty sure this kid wrote the book on it.

Ezra is so dreamy with his medium length super soft fur and paw-some patches of unique coloring.  He is blind in one eye, but it doesn’t seem to bother him at all.

If you're looking for the most humble, adorable, and youthful pup, Ezra might be your guy!

SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere. All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. Please go to our website www.SpinRescue.org and fill out an application for this great Great Pyrenees!

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
