Hello there.  My name is Yeti.  I’m a Husky puppy, and I lub to give full body hugs.  Do you like hugs?  I also like to play tug.  Do you like to play tug?  Zoomies are also loads of fun.  I definitely like my zoomies.  Of how about balls?  Do you have some balls that you could throw for me?  While I do like to play and the zoomies, I am a rather mellow fellow.

Currently I have fun foster siblings.  I also have the small hooman kind of siblings too.  I get so excited to see them that sometimes I jump but I’m learning quickly not to do that.  It can scare hooomans sometimes I guess and I definitely do not want to do that.  I like hoomans.  And those small hoomans are fun.

Since I’m still a puppy I am not quite potty trained.  I am still working on it.  I am really close with being crate trained too.  I know that I’ll get the hang of it really soon.  I like to learn you see and I want my hoomans to be proud of me so I’m giving it a good try.

I lub my zoomies you see so it is really important that I have a fenced in yard.  I just lub the freedom of throwing caution to the wind and running in my yard!!!  Have you ever run so fast you feel like you’re flying?  Nope?  Well I can tell you all about it since I lub it so much!   Walkies are fun too.  Although I am not so good with the leash just yet.  That is a scary contraption!!!  I’m practicing though on a count that my foster mom says it’s important to learn it so I can have more adventures.

I like all doggos too.  It doesn’t matter if they are big or small.  Any size will do.  I don’t necessarily need one in my furever home though.  If it’s just me and you then I can smother you with all my doggo hugs!  And then I’d have you all to myself too!  I haven’t met any of those other kinds of furthings.  I think they are called kitties.  But since I’m such a mellow dude, I am probably going to like them.  Maybe one day I will meet one.

I do tend to do some barkage if I’m in the kennel.  I’d much rather be out with my hoomans you see.  But since I like to learn, I know I can proly learn about being quiet there too.

My foster mom says I can tell you anything I want so here it goes.  I am a very soft and sweet and loveable and cute (obviously) little guy.  I lub playing giving hugs.  If you are an active family who wants a lovable and cute dude, then I’m the one for you!!  I hopes I can meet you soon!!

Some of our dogs are obtained from commercial breeders where they spent their lives getting comfort from their canine friends. Others have come from various situations where they are lacking confidence in humans. In turn, most require another companion dog in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a particular dog, and do not currently have a dog residing with you, please understand that your home might not be the right fit for many of our dogs.

This puppy requires an application fee. This fee must be paid within 24 hours or your application will be considered void.
We will not review or contact applicants that have not completed the payment portion.

Puppy Applications will be responded to within 5 business days, after receipt of the application fee.
Please understand that paying the fee does not guarantee you will be approved to adopt the puppy. Our goal is place puppies in homes that are suited for their individual needs. You may be willing and able to provide a great home, but if it doesn’t meet the specific needs of the puppy, we will not approve your application.

We accept applications for puppies until we have a candidate that meets all of the requirements needed for the specific puppy and they have been contacted to review the adoption process as well as agree to all of the terms to move forward.

Adoption events are updated as the foster home RSVP's to attend. Check back for updates on which events they will be attending. Please understand that all of our pets are in volunteer foster homes and sometimes "life" happens and the foster family cannot make it to their scheduled adoption event. If you are traveling from a far distance to meet a specific animal, please understand we cannot guarantee event attendance. You may wish to consider applying and setting up a private appointment. Private appointments are only scheduled after an application is submitted and approved.

The first step in our process is to complete an online adoption application on our website:

Note: In most circumstances Underdog Rescue will only adopt within 60 miles of Minneapolis, MN.

All of our foster animals can be seen by appointment with an approved adoption application. Contact us at if you have further questions.

All of our animals are fostered in individual homes or doggie daycare facilities. While they are in our care, they are part of our families and given lots of love. We work on training, crate-training and socialization prior to adoption. Each animal's behavior is evaluated and we have a sense of its temperament and personality. We look for adopters who will give each animal the wonderful life and permanent home that he or she deserves. If you have an interest and ability to be a foster home, please visit our website
and fill out a foster application.

Nutrition is vital to the rehabilitation and life-long health of our pets.  All of our foster animals are fed a premium diet such as NutriSource, Canidae, Orijen, Nature's Variety, Fromm, Pure Vita, Stella and Chewy's, Primal, or balanced raw diet.  All adopters are required to continue providing premium diets for the life of the animal.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
