Description:
Scar now known as Colt has been owner surrendered and looking for a forever home! He is a sweet and active boy and we LOVE him! We are seeking an adopter for him with husky or other working breed experience and plan to be active and do training/mental stimulation with this smart boy. A 6' fence is a must for him. He is selective with which dogs he likes at doggy daycare so will be best as an only dog.

From his previous owner:"Hello everyone. We recently adopted this beautiful 2-year-old pure breed Siberian Husky from a family of trainers and rehomers on craigslist. He is a great dog for someone who has the time and experience for a Husky. He is house trained, vaccinated, treated for heartworm, and chipped! I also have those vet records on hand. His name is "Scar" which was given to him by previous owners due to his past trauma of a bullet wound in his right cheek. He is completely healthy and made a full recovery. Very energetic. I mean that. He requires a lot of attention.

Why am I rehoming? In our situation as young, on the go, people, it is the right thing to do. I want to make sure he is with an owner that can train and discipline him further which has experience with more "headstrong" breeds. He is also good with other dogs and LOVES people. He requires discipline and a true Alpha. That is something I cannot do for him."

Colt is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. Adoption donation is $250.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
