Animal Profile:  Mocha is an estimated 2 year old, male, Jack Russel Terrier mix joining us from Hawaii on June 23rd. Mocha currently weighs about 12 pounds.

Seattle Foster Update: Meet Mocha! An adorable scruffy terrier mix who was rescued from Hawaii. He's settled well into his Seattle-area foster home and showing her true terrier breed traits. He is smart, inquisitive, curious, and often has his nose to the ground chasing a good scent. He absolutely loves the outdoors and exploring the yard. A secure yard will be important for Mocha as he can be a bit of an explorer & jumper. Mocha has shown great manners inside his foster home - he has caught on quickly to his new potty routine, gets along well with the resident dogs, and enjoys being close to his humans. He's shown a little bit of mouthy behavior with play & asking for attention, but his foster family has been working with him on curbing that behavior. Because of his mouthiness, we are looking to place him in a home without young kids.

We'll continue to post more information as we get to know Mocha a bit more!

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
