Eugene looks to be one-two years old, maybe ten lbs.  He can be a very sweet boy but he does have issues you need to be very much aware of.  First off – NO CHILDREN!  We also don’t know about cats yet but he is fine with his female kennel mate.  When out in our play yard he is a perfect little dog – loves attention, loves to play. The issue comes when he is behind a fence or in a crate/kennel – he then becomes a little devil dog and no, you cannot reach up to tickle his nose or his teeth will do a lot more than tickle your fingers.  If we go IN the kennel with him he is perfectly fine, but go back out and close the kennel door and the person he was just playing with is now an enemy again to him and he charges.  So Eugene cannot go to just any home – only homes experienced with dogs with issues need apply please.  We will update how he is with cats once we find out.
 
  DOG ADOPTION FEE is $100. This Adoption fee includes: mandatory spay/neuter which will be done before you can take your dog or puppy home with you; basic canine immunizations (DHPP-CPV & Bordatella Intranasal); de-wormings; one-year rabies vaccination if old enough; heartworm test if over five months old; microchip from 24-Pet Watch; certificate for free health examination at your participating veterinarian; and a goodie bag chocked full of information, toys, and more.  (If a dog is sponsored or has a waived or lower fee, that info will be provided at the point of adoption to the approved adopter).

If we do not receive a timely response we simply move on to another applicant.
