Description:
Hello, I am Ontario!I am a sweet and mellow boy who truly enjoys my walks with the humans. I CAN NOT live with cats and would prefer to be the only pet. When I am happy, I love to rub my back on the grass and make funny noises. Walking with me is easy since I do not pull very much, unless I see a cat. If you are looking for a gentle big boy like me, please email my friends @ sjadopt@sanjoseca.gov ; I am accepting appointments on a `first available, first serve` basis. When you email please include my ID # A1203776 your name, phone number, and date(s) and time(s) you're available to visit me.Love,OntarioNotes from Shelter Volunteers:Ontario's a Chow Mix. He mostly displays more Chow personality. When he doesn't know you that well, he will come across as disinterested, but after a few interactions, he will begin to warm up and will play with you, come to you when called. He is pretty independent and will fill his time doing other things instead of playing with you. He loves his lower back rubbed. He is reactive to dogs and if you play rough with him, he will do the same to you. He doesn't like cats at all. He will do better in a household with no little kids or small animals or other dogs.05/19/21 12:23Coughing.KTyson05/24/21 17:30Coughing resolved.SharonO

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
