Bowie is a wonderful little boy who is just so sweet! He is very affectionate and will cuddle up with you and then demand a belly rub! He is great around other dogs and children, and he loves to play.Bowie was hit by a car recently and broke his hip. His owner didn't take him to the vet and because of that, it is now too late to have surgery to fix it properly. It has healed ""as is"" and there is nothing we can do to make it better. He will probably always have a limp and we have started him on arthritis medicine and joint medicine. However, Bowie still runs and plays like a normal puppy!We have also learned that he is a little escape artist if he is near a chain link fence. So, he will need a tall privacy fence at his new home.Bowie's date of birth is 8/6/2020 and he weighs about 45 pounds.All of our rescues are rehabilitated and once healthy are available for an adoption fee of $95 for cats and dogs.
