Description:
Leonard (TX) is a male Labrador Retriever mix rescued in Texas. Our veterinary partner estimates that Leonard is 2 months old at the time of intake in mid-December 2020. Leonard is good with people of all ages, cats and other dogs.  Leonard sat shivering in the back of a pick up truck on a freezing cold day, being offered for sale to anyone who could pay the nominal asking price without regard for what fate was in store for Leonard.  Luckily, our volunteer was able to get Leonard to safety and now he's a Rescue Dogs Rock NYC pup.  Leonard is a sweet, adorable pup who would like nothing more than to cuddle up next to his forever person.  But then this playful pup would want to jump down and do some zoomies!  Leonard would love to share his sweetness and playful puppy antics with his forever family. If you would like to be Leonard's forever family, please apply online to adopt Leonard (TX) at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org.

RDR's adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue.  All pets are also current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption.

Given technical constraints on this database, this pet's location may not be as listed here. We can, however, provide transport support for pets in foster at a considerable distance from the adopter.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
