Description:
Obi Wan is a handsome 1-year-old mixed-breed fellow who currently weighs about 52 pounds. He came to SFAS as a stray and he is now ready for a new family. Here at the shelter, Obi Wan has been undergoing training each day and has progressed. Once he gets to know you he hops around like a puppy. Obi wan would benefit in a home that is pretty quiet. If you have other dogs at home, we encourage you to bring them along for a Meet n' Greet. Obi Wan's adoption fee is WAIVED through the month of JULY! He is neutered and microchipped and has age-appropriate vaccinations. A licensing/microchip fee may apply. SFAS offers a variety of excellent training classes, community connection events, and workshops led by animal behavior professionals. In-person classes have resumed with COVID-safe practices in place; we will also continue to offer basic classes via Zoom. If you adopted your animal from a shelter or rescue group, you receive a $50 discount on every class. For class descriptions, schedules, and registration visit https://sfhumanesociety.org/training

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
