Please note that we can not guarantee the age, expected weight or breed of any animal. What we provide is our best estimates based on our experience and the information provided by the our medical partners. Unless otherwise noted, ALL animals are fostered and available for adoption on Long Island, NY.  Approx. four year old Mixed BreedSawyer is 4yrs old and 60lbs.   He is a sweet boy who has been through a lot in his life.  When arriving in NY , he was a happy guy who loved his foster home.  Unfortunately for Sawyer, the homes he has found haven't been quite right .  The poor guy has been bounced around and ended up in boarding. He is now struggling with trust when all he wanted was to be loved.  He would love someone to give him time and the right amount of exercise to keep him happy and healthy.   We are currently looking for special adopter or foster willing to work with him after he is done with his training.  If you think you could be that special someone for Sawyer, please apply at LCARescue.org.     At the time of adoption a donation is required before the animal is placed in an adoptive home.     $400 - All dogs  $250 - For dogs deemed seniors by LCAR (generally 7 yrs and older)  $150 - For senior citizens (over 65 yrs of age) adopting senior dogs   $150 - For Saint Francis Farm Resident dogs  $150 - For Kittens $100 - For Cats    *IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THIS ANIMAL, PLEASE SUBMIT  AN ADOPTION APPLICATION  ( Dog / Cat )  AND ONCE APPROVED, SOMEONE FROM THIS ORGANIZATION WILL CONTACT YOU. PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL AVAILABLE INFORMATION ABOUT THIS PET IS LISTED ABOVE.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
