Duke is our stunning but slightly misunderstood lab/hound mix. He’s a bouncy pup who does amazing with other dogs and respects their boundaries when playing. He has lots of energy and loves to play with his friends or go on long walks! Duke is a very special boy but has some challenges with touch sensitivity and resource guarding as can be common with hound mixes. Once he trusts you he’ll happily cuddle up to you and give kisses but it may take some help from a trainer to get to that point. A home without small children and with a firm leader with prior dog experience would be best for Duke. He’s been with us for an extended period of time now and is ready to continue his training in a foster or forever home! Please give Duke a chance to spread his love!




Needs work with resource guarding, touch sensitivity, socialization and a moderate amount of exercise.
