Maximus is the biggest, sweetest teddy bear of a dog you'll ever meet.  He's social with other dogs, big & small, and is so tolerant of puppy energy.  Great with kids, loves men and chasing birds.  Poor Maximus was grossly overweight when he arrived from the shelter.  We have gotten him town to a healthy weight and now he's ready for a  home of his own to continue is health and journey.ADOPTION APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS & PROCEDURES
 
 Mutt Match L.A. does not adopt out of state nor do we adopt on a first come first serve basis but rather to the home that is best suited for each particular dog and breed.  All breed.  An application, home check, contract and adoption fee are required for all adoptions.  All dogs will be, or required to be, spayed/neutered, current on vaccinations and microchipped before adoption.  Most of our dogs are from local LA area shelters, we have no prior history for them.
 
Adoption fees are $350 for puppies 8 weeks – 4 years, $300 5 – 8 years and $250 for dogs over 8 years.  Adoption fee covers spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchip a wellness check, any additional medical expenses necessary and of course the all the love and daily care we take with each dog before they are adopted.
 
 TRAINING REQUIREMENT:  We believe a well behaved dog is a happy dog and companion.  Therefore, we require at least one session with one of our recommended behaviorists for a reduced fee which is not included in the adoption fee.
