Big boy Brandon came into the shelter fearful and shut down. Staff and volunteers have been working with him and he has shown much improvement. He can still be fearful of new people and dogs he isnât familiar with, but has made a collection of friends, both human and canine! He enjoys the company of playful female dogs and is waiting for an adopter who can take the time to help him build his confidence and trust. To meet me, please make an appointment with our adoption staff by calling, 916-875-2287. The appointment phone lines are open Tuesday-Sunday from 9:30am to 3:30pm. (closed Monday and holidays). Be prepared to give the shelter representative my animal ID number. The phones get busy, so if you donât get through right away, keep trying. Weâre working hard to provide each potential adopter excellent customer service!
