Description:
King is a gentle, distinguished older soul between 6-8 years old. He shows affection for his people by pushing his big head into your arms and licking your hands for continued petting. If you stop, he will often lift his paw and place on you for you to continue. King knows commands - including come, sit, down, stay, and he is learning "place" and "touch". His favorite past time is to follow his humans around the house as they do chores, but he is also content with being alone and does not have separation anxiety.

King is crate and house trained - and actually enjoys snoozing away in his crate for a few hours during the day. He walks relatively well on leash - though he is often interested in meeting dogs on the walk. He is mild mannered with adults and children alike. He would do fine in a home with children - he isn't jumpy or mouthy - none of
that silly puppy behavior!

King is dog selective and his compatibility with a resident dog will depend on personality.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
