Coat length:
Meet Chubbs! He is approx. four years old and about 60ish pounds. He came in with her sister Sadie who is also available for adoption. Their owner had them since puppy-hood, but sadly owner died of a heart attack so now they are looking for forever homes together or separately. They like each other but are not bonded. They are not friendly with other dogs so if not together need to be only animals. Chubbs requires a secure fenced in yard to hang and play in. He is great with older kids and hasn't been tested around toddlers. He is so sweet and loves to cuddle! He loves to follow his person around the house and be close. He is house trained and a great boy!   Chubbs is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. To meet them please complete an adoption application at! Adoption donation is only $150. Maxx & Me is an all volunteer, all foster home rescue and do not have a shelter. Please allow at least 48 hours for applications to be processed (missing information may slow the process, so please take your time and be thoughtful in your answers). All dogs posted are available (so no need to ask). We place dogs based on best home for each dog and not order of applications received. Email us at for updates and questions. FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
