Hello, my name is Jarvis, but foster mom calls me Archie...I know, random right? But that’s ok because I don’t mind what she calls me so long as it’s respectful and said with LOTS of love!!! Anyway, I am a very handsome and affectionate adult male Pomeranian who is one of those sweet, loyal, and loving type of guys! Though I may be a bit shy at first, I warm up quickly and get along well with everyone including little people and those whack-ya-in-the-face meowy things!!




My favorite hobby you ask?? Well, that’s an easy one…I LOVE to have fun, especially with my canine buddies! There’s nothin’ like hangin’ out with the guys am I right!?! Ok, they may not all be ‘guys’ but you get the gist! Boy, I sure hope I have a canine companion at my new home and a yard where we can play…how incredible would that be!! When I’m not enjoying time with my besties you might find me doing zoomies, playing with a ball or stuffed animal, napping, cuddling with mom or enjoying a leashed stroll or car ride through the neighborhood and if you’re lucky, you may just spot me in a Chuck and Don’s during one of my car excursions with mom. I don’t like being left alone or put in that crate thing so when mom leaves the house or puts me in that cave, I have no choice but to yell at her in the hopes she will take me wherever she’s going. I know what “come” and “outside” mean and I am working hard at potty training which I will undoubtedly master once I’m on a solid schedule. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I love to smile, and it must be said that I have the most wonderful smile you’ve ever seen!



Anyway, I truly am as mom says, “an all-around amazing guy!” and boy, I couldn’t have said it better myself! After all, I’m a silly, happy, fun, smart and snuggly guy who knows when it’s time to have fun and when it’s time to rest. All that’s missing from my life now is my well-deserved furever home with a patient person who will love me unconditionally and NOT give up on me. If you are ready to welcome a great guy into your life, then I sure am ready to meet and go home with you! C’mon, what d’ya say…put down the computer and come pick me up! I’ll be here waitin’ for ya! Some of our dogs are obtained from commercial breeders where they spent their lives getting comfort from their canine friends. Others have come from various situations where they are lacking confidence in humans. In turn, most require another companion dog in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a particular dog, and do not currently have a dog residing with you, please understand that your home might not be the right fit for many of our dogs.

ADOPTION EVENTS:  




Adoption events are updated as the foster home RSVP's to attend. Check back for updates on which events they will be attending. Please understand that all of our pets are in volunteer foster homes and sometimes "life" happens and the foster family cannot make it to their scheduled adoption event. If you are traveling from a far distance to meet a specific animal, please understand we cannot guarantee event attendance. You may wish to consider applying and setting up a private appointment. Private appointments are only scheduled after an application is submitted and approved.

FOSTER CARE: 





All of our animals are fostered in individual homes or doggie daycare facilities. While they are in our care, they are part of our families and given lots of love. We work on training, crate-training and socialization prior to adoption. Each animal's behavior is evaluated and we have a sense of its temperament and personality. We look for adopters who will give each animal the wonderful life and permanent home that he or she deserves. NUTRITION: 





Nutrition is vital to the rehabilitation and life-long health of our pets.  All of our foster animals are fed a premium diet such as NutriSource, Canidae, Orijen, Nature's Variety, Fromm, Pure Vita, Stella and Chewy's, Primal, or balanced raw diet.  All adopters are required to continue providing premium diets for the life of the animal.
