Description:
I'm one of Pru's Crew!"Our mother, Prudence, enjoyed celebrating the holidays.  She believed in giving and would share her last $1 to help others.  After her passing, my sister and I support non-profit organizations in honor of our mother's generous spirit.  Joyful Rescues holds a special place in our hearts and their volunteers work hard to bring hope to animals in need of a safe and loving new beginning.  Our home is filled with three special additions that were adopted through Joyful Rescues' transport efforts.  Our dogs: Troy, June, and Harper Rose bring us joy and love.  Please consider adopting!  In loving memory of our mother" - Diana & Jen from Orchard Park NY

McDougal was born around May 29, 2011 and weighs about 75 pounds. McDougal was pulled by JR from a high kill shelter in KY.   McDougal is as sweet as they come and would like nothing more than to go for a leisurely stroll, then curl up next to you while you watch TV or read a book.   McDougal is great with the other dogs, walks well on a leash, and rides well in the car.  He is not a big barker...which we love.  He looks very Lab like, but his fur is a bit on the plush side.  This older gent is going to be the light of your life!   The Adoption Fee for this dog is $350.00
Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general, our fees include spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccines, Home Again microchipping & registration, worming & flea control - a "complete" pet. We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY.

Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility. YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OF AGE TO ADOPT A DOG FROM JOYFUL RESCUES

We keep our pet list as up-to-date as possible. As soon as a pet is adopted, it is removed from the list. If a pet is still showing, it is still available for adoption.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
