Description:
Kodiak is a sweet guy who enjoys spending time with people and getting lots of love and attention. He looks forward to going on walks with volunteers and walks well on leash. Kodiak came to us as a stray so it is unknown if he has ever lived with children, cats or other dogs. A home with only older children would be best and if you do have a dog at home it is recommended to bring them up as well for a meet and greet, as Kodiak is a calm guy and a higher energy dog may be too much for him. Kodiak currently weighs around 85 pounds. To request an adoption application for Kodiak please email the canine department at jrein@carrollcountymd.gov. Once your application is approved we will go through the applications we have received for him to try and find the best match, at that time a meet and greet can be set up with the approved adopter. Kodiak's adoption fee is $150.00 and he is neutered, microchipped, up to date on core vaccines as well as tested negative for Heartworm and started on a preventative.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
