Description:
Show sweet Shiloh some affection and this one-year-old former stray is 70 pounds of doggy putty in your hands! Easygoing and calm, his heart is as big as his body, and not only does he LOVE being with his fosters, always snuggling and cuddling with them, he’s always eager to please them. Puppy like in his playfulness, he loves toys (his favorites are a rope bone and a small gray elephant) and bones, long walks and brisk hikes, and frisking about with other friendly dogs at the dog park. He also enjoys being brushed and taking car rides, is motivated by food, toys and love, knows “come”, “down”, “no” and “off”, is working on “sit” and “stay,” is fully leash trained and is almost fully housetrained. Not fond of being left alone or of sharing his people or space with other dogs, sociable Shiloh is best suited to a home without other dogs, with a strong but gentle “pack leader” to bolster his confidence, complete his education and keep him well loved and well exercised fur-ever. Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out our Adoption Application so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you within 48 hours. If your home sounds like a good match for you and the pet, the next step is to set up a "meet and greet." After meeting the pet, if you would like to proceed with adopting, we'll ask that you read and sign our Adoption Agreement and pay the adoption fee. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives! A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you. The adoption fee for this pet is $300. Our adoption fee covers the following: - Spay/Neuter, Microchip - DAPP vaccinations as age appropriate for dog - adopter shall be responsible for all DAPP boosters after adoption. - Rabies vaccinations as age appropriate for dog - adopter shall be responsible for any rabies vaccinations after adoption. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application by clicking here .   We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process! Please email ARRColorado@gmail.com for more information, as we can not accept calls at this time. Our adoption process is: 1. Fill out our Adoption Application online.  We'll contact you within 48 hours to answer any questions you may have about the pet. 2. If the pet looks like a great match, we'll schedule a meet and greet and ask you to fill out our online Adoption Agreement if you'd like to proceed with adopting.  Once you've completed the Adoption Agreement and pay the pet's Adoption Fee, you can arrange to pick up your new furry family member!

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
