Please meet precious Banjo. This darling boy found himself in a high kill shelter through no fault of his own. Being a senior he did not have much of a chance in the shelter so we are happy to have him safely with us.

Banjo is a shepherd mix of sorts. He is around 9-10 years old and has a friendly disposition.

Banjo has some issues with his back end. his left back leg suffered unknown injuries in the past and they have not healed correctly. As a result, he takes pain medicine daily to ensure he can have a happy life on walks and in and out of cars, and more.  He is easy-going in the home and likes to putter around the yard. He is not able to do long walks but loves to hang out with his people, relaxing in the home.

Banjo is a bit nervous in meeting new people so extra caution to let him lead the way is good. Treats are nice, too :).

We would love to introduce him to another mellow dog if you have one and see how they get on. A high-energy pal will overwhelm him.  He also is fine as an only pup. A no for cats, too. He thinks they are things to bark at.

He is now updated on all shots, neutered, chipped and his adoption fee is $295.

We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life!

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
