Description:
Max - 15 month old Shepherd mix. Needs a home with a yard. No young kids.

Max is a 15 month old pup.  He is active and loyal but needs a minute to size you up when he meets you. He loves to play in his fenced yard with his soccer ball. He likes his leashed walks but also enjoys just running in open spaces with his soccer ball in his mouth! He loves a good head rub. He's very intelligent and already knows some basic commands. He can be nervous around other dogs and needs a slow introduction to them.  He's learning how to be more social. He responds extremely well to positive reinforcements. With time and exposure guided by an experienced hand, he can really flourish and be a confident dog.

Meeting strangers 'in the wild' is hard for Max and he gets a bit worried. He prefers to be given a moment and not have his space invaded uninvited. He is a bit worried around young kids and their fast movements so we prefer to see him with kids over 12.

He is updated on all shots, neutered and is chipped. His adoption fee is $395.

We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life!

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
