Hamilton is a very handsome, sweet, athletic, and smart boy. He is great with people and children (but keep in mind he is a large dog that likes to play), a quick learner, knows basic commands, and is good on a leash. He loves his outdoor time and does great on walks in the city and on the trails, but a strong hand is needed when passing other dogs as he can be dog selective. When he is on the trails, he loves to chase after squirrels and take a swim in the lake. Although very athletic, Hamilton knows when it’s time to relax and is very affectionate and loving in the home. He is house trained and knows that night time is quiet time. He has learned to sleep in like his fosters and never wakes them up too early, but is always excited to see them in the morning! He doesn’t bark, loves to cuddle, play, and take a few naps during the day. His fosters think he would do best as the solo dog in the home.

His fosters think he is the greatest dog in so many ways and love anyone who adopts him!

*The pet you are viewing is a rescued pet which is most often from an animal control facility and does not come with a pedigree. The breed(s) listed are our best guess and are in no way guaranteed. Sometimes the pets appear to be a particular breed(s) in the pictures we receive from our rescue partners and when they arrive we are surprised to see an entirely different breed(s) in person!  If you choose to DNA test your adopted pet, test results may vary from company to company and our breed guess may not be reflected in those results as it is just that, our best guess. It is with deep longing that we wish there was a breed called "cute" as we believe all of our dogs would fall under this new breed classification!
