Description:
Hello SCOOBY!
Super smart, sweet and affectionate. Scooby is a very young 8-year old German Shepherd Dog mix. He's about 45-50 pounds (medium-size), and if his precious pointy ears don't get you, his playful, clever personality will. Scooby came to us from a shelter in North Carolina. He once had a family, but turned up stray. Some very kind friends of his asked Maxx & Me to give this special darling the chance the shelter couldn't...How could we say no?!!
Scooby's foster says he is a fantastic, laid back companion while she works during the day, a playful pup on his walks in the neighborhood and a well-behaved buddy for car rides. Scooby's a little insecure with other dogs so we would like to place him a home without any (we have lots of faith this will improve-he has a nice general disposition and no real signs of aggression). We haven't had him around children, but he'd probably do well with teens or older. Probably he would like to chase kitties since he's super smart and would regard them as entertaining...
If you would like to meet this handsome fellow, please complete our adoption application: www.maxxandme.org/adopt-app<http://www.maxxandme.org/adopt-app. If you are reading this, he is available, please complete the application and his representative will reach out to you.
Scooby is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. Adoption donation is only $200.
Maxx & Me is an all volunteer, all foster home rescue and do not have a shelter. Please allow at least 48 hours for applications to be processed (missing information may slow the process, so please take your time and be thoughtful in your answers). All dogs posted are available (so no need to ask). We place dogs based on best home for each dog and not order of applications received. FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
