Meet Kodiak aka Big Baby. He earned his nickname from the shelter staff because he wants everyone to think he is this rough and tough dude, but in actuality, he is a big ole mushy hearted baby. He barks at you when kenneled, but then whines like a baby when you don't acknowledge him. It really is the cutest thing. Go meet him to see for yourself! Kodiak has some skin issues going on, but meds are already on board to clear it up. Kodiak did great with the other male dog that was out. He knows at least the sit command and takes treats very gently. Because of Kodiak's skin issues we didn't do a touch test.Kodiak is currently a resident at Vermilion Parish Animal Control. He will be vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped upon placement in an adoptive or foster home.  To adopt, complete the adoption application at AAVArescue.com.
