When Carter arrived to the shelter he was a hot mess. Super skinny, abrasions on his face, sores, open wounds with infections. He has been to the vet and is starting to look much better. Even though he still isn't 100%, you would never know it from Carter. He was well mannered, though a leash puller at times, and knows at least the sit command. He did great with other dogs too. Hunky Carter is ready for you to take him home today!Carter is currently a resident at Vermilion Parish Animal Control. He will be vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped upon placement in an adoptive or foster home.  To adopt, complete the adoption application at AAVArescue.com.
