He and his 4 litter mates came to rescue 6/10/21 at 6 weeks old along with mom Blessed, having been owner surrendered. The estimated DOB is 4/30/2021. Cheerful and his brothers and sisters are all sweet, shy and playful. They are named in honor of Jeff’s original rescue dog, Jolly, who passed away in February. Their names have turned out to be humorous as they are a very serious and sober set of pups, not really “jolly” at all. At 8 weeks old on 6/25/21 Cheerful weighs 4.4 pounds. Cheerful is one of the two that are a little more social and outgoing than the other three pups. He is a “mini-me” of his mom with feathery hair we think may be wirey like hers when he is an adult. Cheerful is ready for adoption. Mommy Blessed (pictured) passed on her calm, not-easily-excited personality. She is a sweet, shy but loving little lady. Blessed is a wire-haired terrier, possibly with some Shih Tzu in there based on her face and adorable underbite. She weighs about 14 pounds. Stating the obvious, dad or dads completely unknown. The adoption fee for each puppy is $250. The Jolly-Puppies will be adopted having had 2 sets of vaccinations and 2 full rounds of deworming.
