Name: Pocket     Best Guess for Breed: Terrier mix Best Guess for Age: 1-2 years as of March 2021      SEX:  Male   Approximate Weight: 38 lbs   Gets Along With:  Other dogs; we haven't seen Pocket cats but he can be tested. Due to his guarding tendencies, he would do best in a home without young children.   Currently Living at:  DC area foster home.    Pocket is Looking For:  This young boy is on the lookout for someone who will give him all the love he craves! He knows they are out there somewhere, noticing the hole that only Pocket can fill, and he can't wait to break out of this shelter and find them. This gorgeous black-and-white terrier mix (speckled with some freckles) is looking forward to showing off his best friend to everyone around town, whether that is on nice long walks through the neighborhood or even to the park and obedience class. He's also looking forward to getting all the daily opportunities for running and playing - he's a young boy with all that awesome dog energy to burn! So, what do you say - are you ready to make this good-looking guy your BFF (emphasis on the 'forever')? What My Foster Says About Me:  "Pocket loves to snuggle. He definitely snores when he sleeps. Very loveable dog that demonstrates to be good with teens and adults. Has a healthy appetite and loves walks. Pocket does well in the crate. It is his "safe place". He does very well on leash. Does not pull. He will lead or follow you. Spends a lot of time sniffing around. He is very happy outside." Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $400, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
