*two female guinea pigs *Midnight: black Abyssinian and Moonie: white and black Abyssinian *About 2 years old as of fall 2022 -These two girls came in as an owner surrender because the owner couldn’t keep them anymore. Unfortunately when they got here and on first exam we realized something was going on with Midnight. We took her to our vet and she was diagnosed with a large tumor in her stomach (probably uterine), a small mammary lump, and a papilloma. We can remove the papilloma and the small mammary tumor if they get any bigger but unfortunately the uterine tumor is not something we can fix without severely risking her life. So we are looking for a fospice home for this girl to live out the rest of her life with her sister. They are such sweet baby girls and Midnight is so good and just wants love and butt scratches. These girls must be adopted out together as a pair. In a fospice situation, we would pay for any vet bills associated with Midnight as she technically would still be under us. We want a home that will have other female Guinea pigs or a single female Guinea pig for Moonie to bond with so when her sister passes it won’t be as hard on her. Interested adopters should check out www.guineapigcages.com for information on recommended cages and https://guinealynx.info/ for information on care and feeding. Interested adopters can fill out our adoption application here: https://www.judgespark.org/adoption-application.html . Adoption fee is $25, counting just for Moonie as Midnight will be a foster situation.
