Hello Friends. My name is Care Bear and I am recently new to CARA. I was rescued from animal control and my friends here have done so much to get me cleaned up and on the road to being a healthy girl. I am looking for a home where I am the only animal because I am a blind girl who can get startled easily. I am a complete love bug in the home, loving lots of cuddle time with my humans. I have learned certain words to help me get around and cant wait to show everyone how amazing I am. Please put an application in today if you think I might be the perfect fit for you.To see more animals for adoption, please visit the CARA Website

Our adoption fees are:
Dogs: $155
Cats: $95
Puppies under 4 months: $115 plus S/N Deposit: $100
Kittens under 4 months: $70 plus S/N Deposit: $100

All pets available for adoption have been spayed or neutered (unless under 4 months please read about our adoptions
here
), are current on vaccinations and preventatives, and micro-chipped. Cats have been tested and confirmed negative for Feline AIDS and Leukemia. Dogs have been tested for heartworm disease.

Our shelter is located at 42 Deep River Rd in Sanford and is open Tues, Thurs, & Fri from 3pm - 7pm & Sat from 10-2pm (other times available by appointment). CARAs adoption process and online application can be found at
http://www.cara-nc.org/info/adoption

Please call 919-774-9433, email adoptions@cara-nc.org, or visit www.cara-nc.org for information about this or other pets available for adoption.

If you would like to adopt me or any of my friends, please visit CARA to fill out an on-line application or e-mail us at adoptions@cara-nc.org.

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
