Princess 2 (our second Princess in the shelter), came to us when her owner could no longer care for her.  She is an affectionate 7 year old girl looking for a new home.

Princess is currently a little stocky at 61 pounds but she is increasing her activity to shed a few of those pounds.  She loves going for walks, and her leash manners are excellent. She leans in for petting and isnt far from her human in the yard.  Princess can be selective with cats, so a slow introduction would work best for her.  She also would prefer to be the only dog in the house.

Her owner claimed that she is crate trained and was good with his children - all in the family were sorry to surrender her.  After living her entire life with a family, she is hoping someone else will give her the same opportunity.

The shelter has an appointment only policy. We ask potential adopters to fill out our application, prior to a scheduled meeting. The staff is very accommodating, and we welcome any inquires.
