Kitsap Humane Society is open for walk-up adoptions Wednesday through Sunday from 12pm to 4pm. We are not open for general pet viewing. Instead, adopters must join the virtual queue to meet with an Adoption Counselor to be introduced to pets. To join the queue, visit the Pet Adoption Center located at 9167 Dickey Rd. NW Silverdale, WA 98383. Upon arrival at the shelter, you will scan the QR code to access the queue - staff will be on hand to assist those without a smart phone. The queue will open at 11am on each adoption day. Please note, wait times vary and the queue may close earlier than 4pm on busy adoption days. To learn more about our adoption process, view the current wait list and approximate wait times, and view our available pets, please visit our website: https://www.kitsap-humane.org/adopt/how-to-adopt/. FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
