Betty came into our rescue as just a tiny kitten with both of her back legs broken. She was too young for orthopedic surgery and we did not want her to have a life of no back legs by amputating them. Instead, she endured months of splints and xrays and doctors visits but it saved BOTH of her back legs! She is now able to walk and jump and run just like any other cat! Betty lives in a foster home with dogs, cats, kittens and older children and does well with all. She is a bit insecure when at our adoption center so she acts sassy and gets overlooked for adoption but we assure you, she is the sweetest and social girl and when shes comfortable with her humans and her furry friends, shes an absolute lovebug. She also has a young kitten "mini-me" named Monte who looks very similar to her and must think shes his long lost mom because hes obsessed with her and shes very motherly and treats him like her son (hes not) and its absolutely darling and so sweet because they are always cuddling and grooming each other. So if anyone is looking for an older kitten and a younger kitten that would do instantly well together in a forever home, this is the pair for you! To start the adoption process, an application must be completed and approved. You will find our full adoption process and the application at www.aarflove.org. If you are interested in meeting some of our adoptable kitties please come to our adoption playroom at 307 Vineyard Town Center, Morgan Hill, CA. Open every Saturday & Sunday 11AM-4PM.
