Courtesy post for Cali. She is not an AAHA dog and we are posting her for her owner to give her more exposure. Please reach out to Todd directly if you can help. She needs a new home due to change in home environment since she is not adjusting well to the now 1 year old child in the home. Hi my name is Cali and my name reflects my personality. I am cute, laid back, friendly, fun loving and love to please my owner. I am a 6 yr old, spayed American Staffordshire Terrier in good health who loves long walks, laying in the sun, and chasing rabbits and squirrels. I have a bit of a prey drive so better not paired with a cat. I know many commands like sit, lay down, paw with both paws, stay, heel, come and place that I would love to show you. I get along with kids and other dogs as long as you let me warm up to them in my own time. I like to snuggle, chew on my toys and sleep in my bed. Not to worry, I only chew on my toys and really not into human food so nothing to worry about there. I am house and crate trained but my currently family hasnt felt the need for a crate for some time. I recently completed a 1 month boot camp style training and would love to find a family who is interested in continuing my training with me so I dont lose any of the skills I have learned. My trainer has volunteered to work with my new owners on transition training to make my move go as smooth as possible. Cant wait to find my new family to love!! Please contact Todd at 443.691.7322 be or Todd.Plajzer@bdk.com if you want to meet Cali.
