Description:
My name is Pigtail and I’m a 4 year old terrier/am pit mix. I’m smart, curious, very affectionate, lovable and quick to adapt to a new situation. I loved being with my foster family, their beagle and hope to have a forever home of my own soon. I was shy when I arrived and quickly came out of my shell and acclimated to home and family life.
I love to play with other dogs and going to the dog park is the best! I’m playful when its time and love to chill out too. I’m a loyal little girl and loved following my foster mom around the house. Some of my best attributes are that I’m well mannered, house trained, sweet, show no signs of separation anxiety AND I love treats. I have a soft bark and bark occasionally when there is a reason to bark.

We took long walks on leashes and I did well but still need a little practice. Vehicle noises make me a little uneasy but I handle it. We took car rides to the
dog park. I was hesitant to get into the car but I rode well and could exit the car on my own. I need someone to work with me on verbal commands but I do know my name. I learned to use the doggy door during my stay. I had a great pad to sleep on but eventually discovered my foster parent’s bed where I slept with them and the Beagle. There bed was the best - cuddles, kisses and
relaxation!

It’s amazing how easily I adapted to foster life! I know I will be a great asset to a loving new family. If interested, you can visit me at Companion Animal Alliance.
