Description:
Meet Miss Zelda. This sweet girl is just a year old, only 39lbs, and every inch of her heart is aching for a forever home to call her own. A place where she will know she is loved and that she will never be left behind again.

Zelda loves people, and once she gets to know you, her favorite place is right by her persons side. She is a great cuddler and the perfect partner for movie night on the couch (she promises not to eat all the popcorn.) This dear girl is whip-smart and loves to play. She is fairly good on the leash though strong and excitable when a squirrel or another dog is in view. She also does well in the car and, above all, is a true and loyal companion dog. Zelda can be uncertain in new situations and is not a fan of strange people or dogs rushing up to greet her … but then who is? She also loves the kitties a bit too much, so no feline friends for her.

We are looking for a quiet and patient dog experienced home that will help her heal and feel safe, and that is committed to supporting her through continued training. While she is generally ok with other dogs after proper introductions, we are looking for a pet-free and kid-free home so that she can be the center of attention. And, of course, good fencing is a must.

AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
