Description:
Shelly is named for the gas station behind which she once lived with no home. Discovered hiding out in a creek bed, she was initially timid and nervous. While gaining her trust took a few months, you would not know it now! Shes learning that good people do exist, and shes looking for a FURever home that is ready to show her the love, cuddles, and spoils she deserves.

Shelly is an energetic, playful girl who loves enrichment toys that let her exercise her mind. She has been learning basic commands like sit, down, place, shake, and touch and loves to be rewarded with affection and/or hot dogs. She wants to please her people and in return, has plenty of affection to give! She is crate- and house-trained. This once outside pup LOVES the AC and inside snoozes.

Shelly wants to play with cats and loves to nose bump, so would require a dog-savvy cat. She could be a possibility for a household with other dogs but will require a slow introduction. As a former stray, shes learning that food is readily available when she wants and/or needs it - and is fed separately from other animals in her crate, but is especially fond of when she gets private play time with food and a snuffle mat.

If interested in opening your heart and home to sweet Shelley, please APPLY for her at www.lifehouse.petfinder.com as we anticipate a high volume of applications.

As always - THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR VILLAGE.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
