Mona is the sweetest senior lady who absolutely adores people even though they have failed her many times in her life. She is non destructive, lower energy couch potato buddy, who would love to watch all of your favorite shows with you. Mona is dog selective and would need proper slower introductions. Based on how she looked at shelter intake, it is pretty safe to say she must have been used for dog fighting or as a bait dog, so we can’t really blame her for taking a bit more time to warm up to another doggy friend.

Mona loves squeaky, rubber toys, and will entertain herself with it. Of course, if you’d like to throw it for her a few times, she would like that too! She is a little bit more picky when it comes to chewy bones and what she enjoys nibbling on, but no worries, her current foster parents would provide all of her favorites.

Additionally, she loves going on walks and will require naps after. If you are looking for a low maintenance girl who will greet you with the cutest puppy eyes every morning, look no further!

Mona sleeps in her XL crate all night without a peep. This would also be provided by us, including the dog bed and her pillow. She doesn’t go in willingly but if you give her a little nudge, she’ll lay right in the middle and go to sleep. ?

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
