Description:
Selene is a 10 month old Bull Terrier mix who has been through a lot in her short life.

She came to 405 Animal Rescue with Parvo when she was 3 months old. She had a rough battle with Parvo, but she pulled through. Due to neurological damage related to her illness, she lost the ability to walk.

All she could do was pull or push herself along in a kind of slow motion crawl; it took almost 3 months before she could even stand again.

She has worked really hard to rehab to the place where she is today. She can get into a standing position all by herself. She can walk, albeit slowly. She is starting to try to run, which looks like a kind of hobbly hopping!

Selene will need a home that is open to a special needs girl, but she is so much more than just a puppy who has survived Parvo and who has struggled to regain her ability to walk!

Selene is a darling playful girl with an amazing and sweet personality. She loves to be petted, she loves her toys, she gets along with all people and all dogs. She is also housebroken and crate trained.

Whoever adopts Selene will be so blessed by this beautiful, resilient, and special girl!

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
