Hi there, I’m Jade! I’m a super happy and loving girl who is looking for a home of my own. I love to just hang out and chill with you, or entertain myself playing with toys. I’m cute, silly, fun, and smart. I have briefly met a few dogs and I wanted to play with them. They haven’t seen me around cats yet. I am at that perfect age where what you see is what you get! I would never ever go potty in the house. I don’t like to be confined but I’m very mature so I should be good staying loose in the house. I do an adorable happy dance when I’m about to get my breakfast or dinner. I weigh about 50 lbs and I am 4-5 years old. I get a little nervous around strange men, but we will be best friends once I get to know them. I love going for car rides, please take me with you for little adventures! I am easy going and easy to get along with. Apply to set up a meet and greet and I promise you’ll fall in love. Adoption fee: $80. Fee includes testing, deworming, vaccinations, spay/neuter, 30 days of free pet insurance, one session with a certified behavior trainer and microchip. Shop at Amazon to help Paws for Life earn needed donations: http://smile.amazon.com/ch/26-2505458 NOTE ABOUT BREED LABELING: Visual breed identification of dogs is unreliable and usually inaccurate. So, for most of our adoptable dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label. Why is labeling a dog such a big deal? A label will stick with a dog for the rest of its life. A label can mean discrimination, losing its home or even death. Labels are a problem for the dogs when we, as the local experts on animals, allow adopters, politicians and community members to think that the label we assign can predict who that dog is or will be. Adoption Process: Complete the application at www.pawsforliferescue.org or go to the direct link at https://form.jotform.com/81935638982170. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if its a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and thats fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
