Special adoption /considerations: Petunia tested positive for Heartworm disease and has been treated on 8/29/2022. Heartworm is not contagious to people or other pets, but results from mosquito bites. We are happy to talk more in depth about heartworm disease and treatment during the counseling process.

Petunia is Looking For: Her forever home! This sweet mama has done an amazing job with her puppies (Peabody, Piggy, Pebbles, Philly, Paisley) and now that the puppies are off to forever homes, its time for her to get her own as well! Shes in her prime as a young dog, and is eager for long sniffy walks and romps in the park and all the adventures that dogs get to do with humans. She would also like to give and get the same love and affection she lavished upon her babies.
What do you say? Will you be the one to give Petunia the fresh start and love she so richly deserves, in exchange for a
What My Foster Says About Me: She loves squeaky toys and bones to chew on. And cuddles and scratches!! Shes still learning about cars and seems to be very aware of them when on walks. Petunia likes to love hard - meaning when she wants affection she is up close and right against you pushing her body into yours and moving her body across. Her tail doesnt stop wagging either!
