Description:
Sky was born on June 21st and raised in a loving home in MS. She was with her mom and 3 siblings. They are thought to be Blue Heeler mixes. Mom is staying with her family in MS. She looks like a Heeler (similar to Blue) and dad was a bigger dog with color/markings similar to Marshal and Rose. There is an interesting variety of colors and breeds in this family.

Once weened, the 4 puppies went into a foster home in MS and received lots of love before traveling to VT. Now, in one of our VT foster homes, Sky is thriving. As of 9/26, her weight is 14.5 lbs.

Sky enjoys playing with other dogs, does well with cats, and loves people. She’s more energetic than her siblings and very smart.

Her foster mom shared:

”Sky is energetic and curious. She enjoys playing with my dogs who vary in age, size and gender. I have backyard chickens and she was quiet around them. She need more work with her leash skills, but that will come with time & practice. She LOVES people, very friendly girl. ”

We do not provide DNA testing which is the only way to know with certainty which breeds are in their genetic background. Our best guess is that they are Heeler mixes. We expect them to reach 40-45 lbs as adults, but we cant guarantee size at maturity.
