Come and knock on my door. Ive been waiting for you!, where the kisses are hers and hers and his Threes Company too.
My name is Janet. Im an adorable brown, spayed, 35-ish pound, aussie border collie mix. I live with my sister, Crissy, and 2 foster doggy sibligs who are much bigger than me. Ive met a few other dogs and have been a little nervous at first to meet each one. With a slow introduction, lots of sniffs, and reassurance from my people that Im safe, I warm up pretty quickly meeting new friends. I live with teens. My foster mom says I would be fine with kids although Im young and learning my manners so I do jump to play and when Im excited. I might knock over very young kids and/or elderly family and friends. I love snacks so my foster family is bribing me easily to do things like coming when called and sitting. For my young age, I do well on a leash. I circle in excitement with all the new smells, but I rarely pull hard. So far in foster I have only used my voice to let my foster family know I see or hear someone outside. So when that truck with the smile pulls up or a neighbor brings their dog past, I give a little ruff ruff to say I see something. My foster mom says ok thanks for letting me know and I go about my business. On a schedule, I am doing fabulous with going potty outside every few hours with minimal acidents on the emergency potty pads. I sleep through the night with my foster kids. I like to play but I also enjoy sprinting through the yard in circles for fun. I am young and a bundle of energy. I have not quite grasped toys but I love bones and antlers. If you are looking for an adventure partner, I am your girl! I have not had a DNA test but I can assure you I have zero couch potato in my genes. With me, youll see that life is a ball again, laughter is calling for you!
