STAR IS BEING FOSTERED IN PONTIAC MI

Meet Star! She is a 30lb red tri standard female Australian Shepherd. She is approximately 6-7 months old. Star came to us as a breeder release because the breeders were gettting a divorce. They had all these puppies they couldnt sell and they were getting too old to stay on the farm, so they gave them up to rescue. Star is one of 7 pups from this breeder, that we named The Galaxy Litter! Stay tuned for her siblings as well! Star, Jupiter, Venus, Aurora, Cosmo, Apollo, and Orion will also be available shortly!

Star is a little shy and timid and still learning that life outside the farm is a good place. Star is extremely sweet! Star needs another confident resident dog in the home that will help her feel more comfortable. A home with not a ton of comings and going would be a great fit for her. Because Star is shy, she also needs. fenced in yard, because she could get scared and want to hide. She also needs a patient adopter that will take the time with her to show her that the world isnt a bad place and that things arent so scary. Star likes other dogs and takes cues from them. She also doesnt care about the cat in the house.

Star is potty trained and crate trained. She likes her crate and it is her safe space. She will also need a crate in her new home so when nervous, she can go in it and relax.

Star is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and heartworm negative. She is also on monthly prevention for fleas, ticks and heartworm.

Stars Needs: physically fenced yard, quieter home, another CONFIDENT resident dog to learn from.

If you are interested in adopting this girl, please fill out an adoption application today! We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. https://midwestaustralianshepherdrescue.org/home/adoption-process/
