Description:
CHELSIE is a very sweet 3 year old, 40 pound Bassett Hound mix. House trained, Leash trained, and Crate trained!

Chelsie is best suited for a single person. She can be in a home with more than one person but she will bond with just one. She is a sweet dog once bonded with you.

She knows the following commands, sit, down, come, stay, heel, no, off, kennel, bang (play dead) and roll over. She is truly full of personality but she doesnt show that to just anyone! She is such a funny dog. She will take a person that is willing to give her time to adjust to you and your home. She just needs time and shell be a great dog if youre willing to give her the chance.

She is fine with other dogs outside of the house but doesnt want to share her home with other dogs or cats, but she is so sweet that you wont miss having another pet around. She is a protective dog so doesnt like visitors to her home. This includes family members who dont live in the home full time or family friends. She is also protective on walks so a fenced in yard with no visibility to the street is needed.

FindpetTM is a Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry for the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool. AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry ("Registry"). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry's database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
