THUMPER IS IN HER FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN
AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO MD ONCE SHE IS ADOPTED!
Thumper is a gentle sweetheart Beagle/hound mix. She is about 11 months old and 23lbs. She was pulled from the Memphis Animal Shelter with a severe injury to her foot. We believe she had been shot. Although we were unable to save her foot, she has adjusted to being a tripod and it does not slow her down one bit.
Thumper is shy at first. She takes some coaxing and cuddling to get her to warm up to you. Several trips to the dog park will make that go much easier. She absolutely LOVES the dog park and playing with all different types of dogs. She especially loves playing with the big dogs.
She is working on leash training and is excellent in her kennel. Being a typical puppy, she will need chew toys. She would do best in a home with a playful big dog or two and is great with kitties.
She is fully vetted including spay, microchip, puppy shots as well as rabies shot.
Her adoption fee of $500 includes the transport to MD. We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Thumper up north after she is adopted.
