Mama Sunday came to DFW Beagle Buddies on June 24 when she and 4 one-week old puppies were found on the side of the road in Red Oak. With a high temperature of 103 that day, we were very concerned that the babies may not make it. Thankfully, mommy and all 4 babies got the all clear from the vet and settled in at their foster home. 6 days later, animal control reached out to us to let us know that there were two more babies! While the 2 additional babies were quite a bit smaller than the other group, all are thriving and have gotten a clean bill of health from the vet!

Since they came over the course of a week, we decided to name this group the Pups of the Week! Mama appears to be full Beagle and the puppies appear to be Beagle/Boxer mixes. We are looking for active homes with a canine playmate, fenced yard, and no children under 6 years old for them so they can grow into the best puppies possible! Wednesday is a tenacious little girl who dives into situations head-first! She loves to play with sticks, play in water, play tug of war... really, play anything! She also loves to be held and gives great kisses. She is a very active little girl who will need exercise, but will also cuddle up on the couch with you.

The Pups of the Weeks estimated birthday is June 17, 2022. They have had their first and second rounds of vaccines and we will coordinate getting the third round taken care of.
