Good morning from Tina!

She’s one of largest of the 15 dogs surrendered when their owner was evicted, weighing in at a whopping 39lbs!  That’s mostly chonk, and she is a beagle-sized dog who should weigh more like 20-25 ?.  She’s got major dieting plans for the fall and winter and we hope she will be unrecognizable and much healthier in time for next summer.  She’s a slow moving girl who hasn’t exercised much but is doing well learning to walk on leash and will probably enjoy going for progressively longer walks soon.  Tina is shy but sweet and enjoying the company of other doggie friends- her housemates and making new friends too- and is looking for a home with at least one other doggie friend or could be adopted with one of her family members.  We believe Tina is a Rottie/beagle/fox terrier mix and is about 5 years old.  She’s clearly had lots of puppies but has been spayed now so those days are behind her forever.
