Stella *Fall in Love*

In shelter Dog

Watertown, CT, 06795
Pet name:
Stella *Fall in Love*
Stella is a sweet and quirky 5 yr old girl seeking a patient, low key household where she can really come into her own. Stella came to rescue very poorly socialized. She has been in foster care long term and made huge amounts of progress and now does very well on outings, walks up the road, and when meeting new people. She vacationed at another foster home for an extended stay to see how she would adjust and she did great so we have decided it is time for her to look for her forever home. She loves other dogs and would do best in a home with a social butterfly dog friend to show her the ropes. She is fine with cats in her foster home but sometimes likes to chase them. She is potty trained, crate trained, highly treat motivated, and is very affectionate as soon as she gets comfortable. Stella must have a fenced yard because she would be easy to lose and hard to recover while she was getting used to her new surroundings and people. If you have a low-key household, some patience, and want a dog that will literally look at you like you hung the moon, Stella might be the girl for you.

Stella is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. This dog has tested negative for heartworms.
